I think the Marine Park oval is on there because a bike rental company operates out of that park and while they largely cater to schools and camps that rent kayaks, they also do good business with those little racing pedal gokarts and those doofy 4 rider pedal bikes cars around the circle.
The dead end in Flushing Bay to LGA is funny because when they were rebuilding the airport, the construction guys all parked at the empty Mets satellite lots (Free on non game days) on the bay and rode bikes and scooters to work, rather than pay for parking near the airport. So there was a hole in the fence and a defacto greenway connection that is now lost again.
